Daily Gratitude:
Today I am grateful to have gotten enough sleep after so many days. Somehow I fell asleep a little earlier and managed to sleep until 9 AM. This happens quite rarely, as I usually wake up much earlier, even if I sleep in late. And as I am writing this journal in the very evening, I am already quite sleepy and hoping to sleep through again, that would be great. I got my steps and my workout in, not a very healthy diet again…? But hey, I can eat whatever I want, when I want. These are crazy times we live in, considering how it used to be back in the days… We live the best life ever.
Diary Entry:
Another day passed and I did not adhere to a healthy diet unfortunately. But it was not as crazy as the day before. I estimate my calories to approximately 3500 for today which is indeed a lot but from my experience just slightly above my maintenance. I ate some cake and cookies, leftovers from Christmas and New Year’s. Well, I had a nice workout and a good walk around the village. The moon was bright and beautiful today and my workout was nice. Even Veronika worked out with me today. I hope she will stick to it more often from now on.
Veronika and I started watching the series Silo today. It is an interesting watch. We watched two episodes and now it’s 23:30. I am feeling extremely tired despite the fact that I only got 9,000 steps in and worked out full body for around an hour. I am looking forward to get my walk in for tomorrow. This week I lifted weights twice, next week I am looking at 3 sessions.
I can see my body gaining size. I am getting stronger during my lifts. But I must admit, my belly is getting bigger and bigger and it looks extremely disgusting. I should start working on shredding my belly down. I would like to have a small waist size for a while now but I always give in and fail… I need to figure out a strategy that works long-term. We will see. My current idea is to introduce more activity.
Anyway, I will not go in-depth here. I am feeling quite dizzy right now but I believe it may be because I am seriously tired and can’t even keep my eyes open anymore. This will be everything for today.
