Daily Gratitude:
I want to express my gratitude that today my energy levels were higher than yesterday and I feel quite tired towards the evening already. My sleep duration was below 6:30H today, yet my energy levels were sustainable. I talked to my mother and my brother who I had a nice conversation with. I am truthfully looking forward for 2026. It will be a great year of achievements for me! Today was an amazing day again and I mean it.
Diary Entry:
This is the first Monday of this year and my mind is wandering with ideas how I am gonna design this year and what I will achieve. I have plenty business ideas to touch on, once I arrive home in Germany. I am looking forward to try many things and upgrade my current business to the next level. This week the 3PL should also finish the packing of my items and I will have the first FBA delivery done entirely out of hand.
This morning my sleep was not ideal. I slept a lousy 6:20H, yet my watch claims I had “excellent” sleep. The Samsung Sleep Score does not seem to be very accurate. My energy levels were quite good regardless. I did not have energy to go for a marathon or so but many days I must push myself to even get up. Today it was kind of okay. I also had an energy drink in the morning. I am actually sensitive to caffeine but sometimes it feels like it improves my sleep. In a few weeks I will run an experiment how caffeine influences my sleep.
I took two walks today. Instead of one 6 km walk, I split it into two roughly even walks. It felt a little easier if I am honest. I enjoyed that I could walk alone and not with my wife. Not that I don’t want to talk to her but the silence allows my mind to explore and craft different ideas which I enjoy. With a total of 9,000 steps I hit my target again and put my 1H lifting session next to it. Good start for this week.
Regarding my calories, I consumed 3400 calories today, once again too many. The first hours of the day started well with fatt fish and eggs. Vegetables and milk for my second meal. Later I bought a big bar of chocolate and ate some chips while watching a series. This was the big killer for me today. I am not focusing on eliminating these but soon I will gather some ideas and goals to lose weight. Will have to think about it another time. My protein intake across the days is also too low. I must implement high protein foods as well, quite important if I want to train a lot.
That is it for this day already. I can’t believe I am leaving this place in 9 days already. Feels like I am moving cities again… Will be annoying to walk to the gym to workout but in all honesty, that is perfect for me. More steps, more calories burned and the steps don’t count towards my cardio obviously. Will probably have an easier time losing weight.
